Beautiful and unique jewelry made from fossilized Dinosaur Bone. Replacement of bone material by quartz and other minerals
occurred so gradually that the original cellular structure of the bone is preserved, resulting in a “honeycomb” pattern. Dinosaur Bone is typically found in the American Southwest. Colors range from brown to black to dark yellow to red, which is more rare. Polishes beautifully, with the cell structure adding to the character of the stone. Many stones are over 100 million years old!
